It Is Rocktober At The Mole Hill Theatre

ALSTEAD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - If you've missed live music at the Mole Hill theatre over the last couple months, then you'll be happy to hear that the season will begin with Rocktoberfest, slated for Friday, October 7. A pot luck dinner will start at 6:00 p.m., this is a B.Y.O.B. event (no hard liquor) and the music starts at 6:30.

Presented by Funseeker Productions, the music line up includes Zach Benton (pop/soul), Kamara Fay (Celtic folk), BC3 (jazz fusion), The Whiteboards (country/psychedelia), Roots Cellar (electric Americana/rock) and Lonn Livengood & The Best Revenge (electric Americana).

Zach Benton - Zach Benton writes, performs and produces his own records and has been singing and performing since 2002. He released his first LP, titled Fall In", which reached #6 on the iTunes R&B/Soul new releases chart and has had over 20 songs hit on that same chart. He is currently working on his second studio album, while performing solo and with the Zach Benton Band throughout the New Hampshire, New England and New York. Oh - and he's opened a show for the Beach Boys!

BC3 - This cool, jazz-fusion trio features Bob Cummings on keyboards, Paul Venezia on bass and Jeff Costello on drums.

Kamara Fay - Inspired by Ireland, Africa, the woods, fields, streams and love, Kamara is currently working on her first CD release, an albu "about remembering and finding strength in your soul." Quite versatile in her performance, Kamara will feature such instruments as accordion, maracas, Irish whistle, native American flute, bodhran, electric guitar and kalimba on the new release. The Whiteboards - The self-proclaimed best country rock band on Granite Lake. "Four bullwhips," declares world-famous videographer Miles Keefe! This country-psychedelic band features John Meehan on lead guitar and vocals, Steve Thornton on bass guitar, Glenn Lamothe on rhythm guitar, Don Sporborg on drums, Alicia Flammia on vocals and Johnny Meehan on keyboards and saxophones.

Lonn Livengood & The Best Revenge - The band plays a set standing at the musical crossroads of classic country, rhythm & blues and rock a& roll, ccovering such artists as Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Webb Pierce, Grateful Dead, The Band, 70's one hit wonders and a few originals mixed in. The band features Doug Barret on bass, Charlie Brown on drums, Johnnie Godwin on harp and vocals, Lonn Livengood on guitar and vocals and Bob McKelvey on lead guitar.
