Coming to the Mole Hill Theatre on Saturday: Baba Ray and The Youngest Sun

ALSTEAD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Coming to the Mole Hill Theatre on Saturday, December 2, it's the funk, jazz and blues sounds of BabaRay! Opening the show will be the jam-rock vibes of The Youngest Sun.

BabaRay play a mix of dusty blues, smoky jazz and high energy, groove-funky stuff. Expect a tasty mix of reinterpretations of songs by Ray Charles, Irma Thomas, Patsy Cline, James Brown, Duke Robillard, Delbert McClinton and more. The band is fronted by Liza Constable and Bob McKelvey, guaranteeing tremendous vocal and guitar leads. Jen Spaziani (drums) and Bear Barrett (bass) anchor the rhythm.

Opening the show will be The Youngest Sun, a blend of rock, jazz, funk and experimental genres with a passion for composition and improvisation. Call it Alternative/Fun/Jam/Experimental Rock. It simply sounds great and is easy to move to. The band features Jordan Cusano on drums and vocals, Duncan Pelletier on keys and vocals, Rory Hurley on guitar and Ethan McBrien on bass and vocals.
