Coming to Next Stage: Boston's The American Symphony of Soul!
PUTBEY, VERMONT - Next Stage Arts Project invites the community to celebrate the completion of its capital campaign with a free community dance party featuring The American Symphony of Soul, on Saturday, February 25 at 7:30pm. The American Symphony of Soul released their debut album, Swept Up, in February of 2016, and won the Best of Boston #1 local album for 2016.
The American Symphony of Soul is a 10-piece, R&B-powerhouse that has muscled its way to status as a mainstay on the Cambridge music scene. An air-tight rhythm section combines with crisp horns, in support of a soulful vocalist to create music that inspires both reflection and movement offering a big sound and high energy.
This event is part of Next Stage’s celebration of the completion of its $1.7 million capital campaign with the Putney Historical Society, to renovate the historic 1841 building at 15 Kimball Hill in Putney. Thanks to support from hundreds of individual donors, organizations and foundations, the space is now fully accessible, and features a state of the art performance space and community center.
Next Stage Arts Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing Putney’s cultural and economic village center through the programming, development and operation of Next Stage.
