Machina Arts to Bring "Artober" to Keene Pumpkin Festival

KEENE, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Carve out some space for the Arts at the upcoming Keene Pumpkin Festival! Machina Arts, dedicated to promoting and showcasing artists and musicians who are motivated to change the world through their work, will present Artober, a fun-filled day of music and art during Keene's annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 18.

Supported by Keene’s Friends of Public Art and In The Wild Productions and for one day only, the amphitheater behind the Monadnock Co-op will become an interactive sculpture garden with an incredible line-up of local live music.

Local bands performing include Adeem, Hug The Dog, The Great Groove Theory, The Colin Isotti Band, and DJ Machina. Local Artists include Danya Pugliese, Marcy Pope, Tyler Rogers, Andrew Hannah, Taylor Welding, and Adam Schepker.

Artober will be preceded by a Machina Arts produced dance party at the Upper Deck Club at Scores on Friday, October 17th, including techno fiddle from Brendan Carey Block and house dance music from DJs Chris Hamilton and Rebecca Hamilton.

The hosts of the event, the Machina Arts Collective, came together for a common mission: to invigorate the arts in the Monadnock region. Artober will feature local bands and visual artists who will engage the community in interactive ways. Help support local artists by coming out to enjoy the day with us while experiencing the fun and excitement of Keene’s annual Pumpkin Festival.
