Mole Hill Theatre: The Rude Mechanicals Theater Ensemble Presents "The Importance of Being Earnest"

ALSTEAD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Coming to the Mole Hill Theatre, The Rude Mechanicals Theater Ensemble presents a Steampunk-styled The Importance of Being Earnest, a play by Oscar Wilde and directed by Eric Snare. Show dates are September 18th, 19th, 20th and September 25th, 26th & 27th with show times at 7:00 PM.

High farce and witty dialogue make this the most enduring of Wilde's plays. It is a satire of Victorian ways in which the protagonists maintain fictitious personae in order to avoid social obligations. The Rude Mechanicals Ensemble has added a Steampunk twist to this production. In addition to the regular cast of characters, each show is preceded by a Steam Fair - the Steampunk equivalent of a Renaissance Fair. Come as early as 6:15 to meet as extraordinary a crew of characters as you will ever see!

On the main stage are Cooper Hall, Sam Foucher, Mason Washer, John Ray, Veda Crewe, Jazmine Carroll, Sofia Thornblad, Jenny Holan, Danielle Fitzpatrick, and Robert Wellington. Tickets are $10. Please call 603-863-0411 or email to reserve seats. The Mole Hill Theatre is located at 789 Gilsum Mine Rd. Alstead, NH 03602.
