Monday Morning Children’s Theater Returns to Claremont Opera House

CLAREMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Starting Monday mornings at 10:00 a.m. now through August 11, five professional adult actors from Jean’s Playhouse Children’s Theater Company from Lincoln, N.H. will perform original musical adaptations of popular fairy and folk tales on the historic stage of the Claremont Opera House. The shows run approximately 40 minutes each and each show ends with a cast meet-and-greet with autograph signing and picture taking.

The first show, Little Red Riding Hood on June 23, was played to an enthusiastic audience. The remaining shows include Rumpelstiltskin on June 30, The Princess & the Pea on July 7, Beauty & the Beast on July 14, Excalibur on July 21, Rikki Tikki Tavi July 28, George & the Dragon on August 4 and Cinderella on August 11.

Tickets are $6 (includes a .50 COH preservation fee) and can be purchased at the door the day of the show at the Claremont Opera House. Seating is general admission and groups are advised to call ahead for reserved seating.
