Upcoming Shows at The Flying Monkey: The Wailers, Martin Sexton, Mike Gerard's Big Swing Thing, Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy

PLYMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE - The original Plymouth Theater had been at the heart of the cultural life of historic Plymouth, New Hampshire since it was originally built back in the 1920s. In its prime, the New Plymouth Theater attracted sold out audiences for some of Hollywood’s finest classic cinematic productions, dating back to the era of the silent movie.

In 2010, after the defunct, empty Plymouth Theater had fallen into disuse, The Common Man’s founder and visionary, Alex Ray, made the bold decision to purchase the building and began an extensive renovation to not only restore the main theatre, but also create a new stage for live music and performance. He dubbed the new theatre the Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center, named for a certain popular role he had played in a local community theater production.
