The Butterfly Swing Band Coming To Mole Hill Theatre

ALSTEAD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - The Butterfly Swing Band is coming to the Mole hill Theatre on Friday, August 22. This band plays joyous dance music with a classic swing groove. The ensemble includes trumpet, sax, clarinet, guitar, bass and percussion. The band's repertoire features tunes from the 1920's, 30's & 40's by such legends as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cole Porter and Benny Goodman. Music starts at 8 pm. $10 cover. All ages. byob.

The R & B Wonder of The Nines Returns To The Mole Hill

"The Nines" is an 8-piece R & B band that has been grooving Southern New Hampshire and Vermont since 2003.... and are as fine a dance band as you'll find anywhere. Powerful horns, righteous vocals and all-around outstanding musicianship. The show will also mark the last performance for bass player Ken Hamshaw, so come on out for a rousing sendoff.

John Fannon Returns To Boston's Club Passim In August

BOSTON - Solo artist John Fannon, studio owner and front-man of AOR rockers New England, is returning to perform a solo show at the famed Club Passim on Harvard Square in Boston on Saturday, August 2.
